I'm very
sad to share with you the passing of an incredibly special person
who touched and shaped many lives. Mama Weigle, passed away January
12, 2009. I've included an email from her granddaughter, below. Mama
Weigle will be forever missed. She and her family are in our prayers.

Sad news
Dear
former MP's and all who knew "Mama Weigle",
My
grandma Emilie Weigle (Mama Weigle) died peacefully at 12th
January 2009 in the arms of her daughter Anita Hummel (Sissi).
She was in hospital for a short time because of blood poisoning.
She strongly fought against it, but the illness was too much
for her.
She
will be staying alive in our hearts and we are very thankful
that we could have her such a long time in happiness.
She
often talked about all of you and was very proud and happy that
so many former MP's and other people who still knew her wrote
emails or cards to her.
